Parents, Students, and Staff,
We are still very concerned about the percentage of positive tests in the last 14 days for our county. However, our staff members have been at work for the last two weeks, and we have had no new cases. At this time, we plan to welcome in-person students back to school on January 19, 2021.
Please keep in mind that many of our 1st semester distance learners have opted for in-person learning this semester. This will make social distancing in the classroom more difficult. When we have a positive case in the school, it is likely that our quarantines will involve a lot more students. I am providing a few reminders about some of our health and safety practices.
• Disinfecting our school buildings and buses routinely
• Requiring students to wear masks on the school buses
• Encouraging the use of face masks/coverings
• The high school and middle school students and staff will be required to wear face masks/coverings during classroom transitions.

We will operate the school meal program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week. On those days, we will be delivering enough breakfast and lunch for multiple days. The bus delivery of meals will begin at 10:00 a.m. In addition to bus stops, the Upper Elementary School Cafeteria and the High School Cafeteria are open as meal pick-up sites. The hours of the pick-up sites are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
