On May 9-11, 2024, Taylor County Track competed at the GHSA state finals. We would like to congratulate our entire track team on a stellar performance.
Our girls 4 x 200 Relay finished 5th in the state. Team members are Nashaila Sherman, Skyler Searcy, Alasia Montgomery, and Aaliyah Bunkley.
Alasia Montgomery also placed 3rd in state in High Jump.
Finally, our girls 4 x 400 blew away the competition to become the 2024 GHSA State Champions for Class A, Division II. Members of the state championship relay are Nashaila Sherman, Skyler Searcy, Alasia Montogomery, and Aaliyah Bunkley.
