The Taylor County Primary School family is very excited about our beautiful butterfly gardens brought about through the efforts of the Butler Garden Club. The students participated in the dedication program through song and dance. A sculpture presentation was given in memory of Cathryn Jarrell Cheek, a founding member of the Butler Garden Club.

We at Taylor County Primary School would like to give special thanks to the gracious ladies (and gentlemen) of the Butler Garden Club for establishing and maintaining the butterfly gardens on our campus. It is through their efforts that we are now a part of the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail.
